Iranian short film ‘Penetration’, made by Sima Bonyadi, has been selected to compete at the 18th edition of the Dusseldorf Film Festival (DFF) in Germany.
The DFF announced its final lineup that includes 21 short films selected from among over 1000 works sent to the festival.
‘Penetration’ that is Bonyadi’s debut film will have its first international presence at the DFF.
A tagline for the short, also written by Bonyadi, reads, “In the dark, you can openly hide!”
Two actors of the short film are Ali Taheri and Sima Bonyadi. Moreover, Majid Mohammaddoust is in charge of the international distribution of ‘Penetration’.
Lunched in 2003, the DFF takes place every November for three days and celebrates the works of creative filmmakers.
Due to the situation made by the coronavirus pandemic, the event will go online for the upcoming edition on November 18-20.
